Duke Gardens and Duke University accumulate enough landscape debris annually to fill Coach K Court in Cameron Indoor Stadium with a 14-foot-high pile of green waste.

Duke Gardens’ composting programs reduce the landscape carbon footprint by about 13 metric tons, producing roughly 11 tractor trailer loads of finished mulch.
